Do a body scan and feel throughout your entire body. Start with your head, move your way to your arms, down the front of your torso, into your legs, and up your back.
When you feel any tension, sit with it, bring your observation to that area and visualizing the tension just dissolving. Buddha says that all things in life are impermanent, that goes for all of your tension as well.
One of the many benefits of meditation is developing more patience. When you catch yourself feeling impatient, don’t try to suppress the feeling. Instead, try to observe where in your body you feel that emotion.
