This transformation comes from Leslie who wanted to spice up her usual self proclaimed “preppy” style. When her entryway was in need of sprucing up on a limited budget, she decided to hit up her local thrift shop. There she found a classic, Victorian style bowed leg table in mahogany wood with a white Carrera marble top. Her typically traditional style attracted her to this elegant piece, but she new it needed to be transformed to match the new direction for her entryway. Leslie describes her desired direction as traditional, yet “funky chic”.
To transform her new Victorian table, she sanded it down (until varnish was removed) and recovered it using 4 coats of glossy black spray paint.
